Eid Festival Bazaar
We would like to invite you to take advantage of a unique business partnership in the 24th annual Eid Festivals at the CNE. The Eid Festivals, organized by the Muslim Association of Canada (MAC), attract thousands of families in the GTA every year with its unique community gathering, fun-filled carnival, and its distinguished bazaar. Building on past partnership success, we would like you to consider our Bazaar for Eid Al-Adha Festival 2009.. Last year’s event was met with positive feedback from all bazaar participants. With a spacious 150,000 ft2 area and many fun-filled rides, shows, and sports tournaments, this year’s festival will attract thousands of families, youth and children throughout the day. Over fifty small businesses come together in our bazaar area to showcase their products and services to the community. Unique compared to other events, this whole-day event allows for businesses, such as yours, to access thousands of people from different cultural background, social and economic spheres. With more than ten thousand community members attending, it is the perfect marketing opportunity for companies to advertise their products and services. Eid Festival Bazaar Rules and Regulations
1. No food items cooked or baked, candy, or drinks
may be sold
2. No collection of donations for events or organizations is allowed
3. No toy guns, swords, or any other product that resembles a weapon of any type (as deemed by the EID Organizers) can be sold
4. No merchandise considered unIslamic by the EID Organizers may be sold.
5. A booth may not be re-sold to another vendor. Doing so can result in both yourself and the other vendor being excused from the event
6.
You may not bring and setup tables not pprovided by the Eid Festival
7.
You may not setup merchandise in such a way that blocks aisles (Passage Way) and Emergency Exits or display the merchandise in such a fashion that hinders the display of other vendors
8. You will only setup merchandise on the table and the designated area allocated to you
The Eid Committee is not responsible for any stolen goods before, during, or after event.
Vendors are expected to shut down and clean up at 6:00 pm. Allocated areas should be cleaned up appropriately or the Eid Committee reserved the right to apply any clean up charges. You will be required to exit the building by 7:00 pm.
The Eid Committee reserves the right of cancellation
The Eid Committee reserves the right to apply a cancellation fee of $50 per table and $30 per outlet. Cancellations will not be accepted the day of Eid under any circumstances.
If any of the above contract agreements are breached or any unIslamic or unprofessional behavior takes place, the Eid Committee reserves the right to excuse you from the bazaar.
