Business Sponsorship
Historically over the last 20 years the event has maintained a commitment to provide free admission to encourage everyone to attend; a commitment our community has always valued. In addition to this MAC strives to provide an event that is affordable for low income families and new immigrants within Toronto. As a result, the event has always provided free entrance and subsidized carnival passes. As MAC is a not-for-profit organization, business sponsorship is integral to the sustainability and continuity of the Eid Festivals.

The prophet Mohamed (pbuh) was asked 'What is Udhiya/Qurbani?', He answered 'It is the Sunna of your father Ibrahim (as), for every hair of the Qurbani you will receive a reward from Allah and for every hair in the wool you will receive a reward'. (hadith - Ibn Maja and Tirmidhi).
The Muslim Association of Canada (MAC) is embarking on new initiative to share Qurbani/Udhiya services for Eid Al-Adha with the families of fixed and low income in our local communities. We have organized with a local butcher to slaughter the animals after Eid prayer and then package them for distribution. We reached a special arrangement so that any donor can retain one third of the meat from his/her Qurbani/Udhiya which will be available pick up the day after Eid.
MAC is working with Scadding Court Community Centre and the MSA of U of T, St. George to distribute the meat to families in fixed income housing areas such as Regent Park and Alexandra Park. Through our community outreach so far, 170 families have signed up to receive packages of meat ( the number is growing with every passing day). To share in the joy of Eid, we are also organizing a free community lunch on Nov. 29 where families receiving the meat can come, share a meal with us, learn about Eid, Islam and Muslims and pick up their packages.
The following options are available:
- Lamb full donation (35 - 40 lb): $280

The Muslim Association of Canada (MAC) believes as part of the spirit of Eid the Muslim community should give back to the less fortunate as we come together and unite. With over 10,000 attendees the Festival aims to raise a signficiant quantity of food.
The Festival has partnered with the Daily Bread Food Bank for the last 5 years.
We encourage all families to bring a bag of non-perishable food and drop it off at the food drive boxes as you enter the hall.
